I met Corban and his wife Laura, owners of Lorbaniah Cameography Videography, last summer at a networking event. He and his wife run their family business and you can tell they love it. They were attending as guests and also gladly captured some footage of the event. He compiled, edited, and sent it out so fast-I was amazed..since I know it takes time! I continued to run into him at networking events and had an opportunity to see his end product when he sent some samples. It is amazing. Truly captured all moments in a way that give you pure joy to watch and relive memories. I also recently worked with him at a wedding, where he knew all the places to be to get the right shots..and moved around everywhere in order to "blend". It's hard for someone carrying a camera to be un noticeable..but he was. His professional knowledge of cameras and filming mixed with his pleasant and accomodating personality are a sure hit for anyone looking for a videographer. Talk about accommodating..Shannon Mercil, owner and lead make-up artist, of I love Blush.com came to my house with her "case of beauty" to do a personal consultation and make-up application. I asked for a smokey eye and some make-up for a date night on the town with my husband..but nothing too dramatic since I don't wear heavy make-up. I have been able experience the smooth, sweet sounds of DJ Mike Sharp at several events. He has the entire set up..turntables, microphone, speakers, and great music selections. He has done tons of weddings and events and we are privileged to have him spinning some tunes at THE ONE. He will be doing some urban down beat, some vintage wedding tunes, and maybe even surprise us with some delights from the 80's. He knows how to read the crowd, and is great at determining the music for the atmosphere. Looking forward to his music setting the tone for the event and keeping us tapping our toes from 3-6.

I first met Jose, owner of I Heart Weddings Photography, when he had just moved to Seattle from California. He showed me some of his work, some of his books and portfolio and I was blown away. The pictures told the story. The moments were so well captured that you felt every emotion of the day. As with all vendors I meet, I hope to develop a relationship to be able to refer them to future brides. Because most of my brides already had photographers previously booked, I never had the opportunity to refer him to one of my brides. When I met Arica Kildea, Owner and Lead Stylist for Seattle Glam Squad, I was wondering how I was going to recognize her since we had never met before. Well, I suppose that was the wrong way of thinking. She was very noticeable..Very Stylish, great flawless make-up (the kind that you can tell a professional did), cute up-do hair style, and a smashing personality. Let me just tell you, this lady LOVES what she does..and has been doing it for a long time. She has years of experience behind her, and you can tell from the way she educates you in a very helpful way. Her method is total consultation..finding out what the client wants overall-and creating a great experience for them. Arica partners with other people vendors so that you can have the total experience-hair, make-up, and massage. Who wouldn't want that?!
I would certainly recommend her for any of your needs for special occassion, or even if you are wanting some tips on your own make-up (she gives the scoop on what to buy and what NOT to buy!)
